It's that time of year again, the Scilly Isles are being invaded by gig rowers. This year there are over 130 gigs again and probably 250 teams! I took some snaps of the gigs on the strand, take a look below. They are all over town though and I think they are running out of places to park them! Its been a glorious day, hardly a cloud in sight and a light breeze. Just what the teams want.
We have the Dutch crew of the Irene Too staying with us again this year at our Scilly Isles B&B. They come tomorrow as both sailings of the Scillonian III were booked up today. Both sailings are fully booked again tomorrow, some of the crew are on the early boat and some on the later one.
