I was on the television last Sunday night! If you were watching Coast on BBC2 there was a feature where Nicholas Crane joined some of the locals for the inter-island walk between four of the Scilly Isles. When he was talking to the camera I was right behind him on a number of occasions. It was a superb day for the walk, warm with blue skies - not too bad for September last year! The walk is approximately 5 miles and starts on St.Martins. From there we walked to Tresco then Samson, Bryher and finally back to Tresco again. Water depth ranges from chest deep for me to nothing when on one of the islands. It was a day to remember and I made some new friends too.
The best thing though is that it was a sponsored walk so we all raised money for charity!
